Brazilian Capoeira Angola
Casa de Brazilian Folkloric Arts of Sacramento
Casa de Brazilian Folkloric Arts of Sacramento strives to infuse Brazilian folkloric arts and healthy activities in communities across Sacramento. The organization achieves this primarily through unique programs and presentations of Brazilian Capoeira Angola and Brazilian music and dance led by professional Brazilian Master artist Mestre Caboclinho. The programs teach the history, culture and performance of Brazilian Folkloric arts. The organization also focuses on providing programs to under-served communities to increase the access to quality arts programming for communities everywhere.
The organization is also the founder and host of the first Sacramento based Brazilian Day Street Festival! Since 2013, the festival has been shaking the streets of Sacramento with Brazilian music and folkloric dances. A taste of Brazil without leaving the state!
